How the Solarize Process Works

  1. Get out your electrical bill. Identify the kilowatt-hour (kWh) usage for the last 12 months.
  2. Schedule Free Home Energy Audit by contacting us

Step 2: Schedule New England Breeze Solar site visit

Step 2: schedule

  • 1-1/2 hours: We look at main electrical panel, roof rafters, shade (roof or yard)
  • Please have: copy of recent electrical bill
  • Review proposed system size and price

Step 3: Sign Contract

Step 4: sign

  • Contract with New England Breeze Solar
  • Commonwealth Solar II rebate application & participant’s agreement
  • NGrid utility interconnection application & schedule Z
  • Building permit application
  • SREC aggregator paperwork
  • Please provide copies of entire electric bill and energy audit summary

Step 4: Install

  • 2 days of interior work
  • Remainder of installation is outdoors
  • Electrical & Building inspections
